SOURCING

Sourcing is the initial process of identifying, analyzing, and negotiating with suppliers of goods and services.

Typically, the goods and services sold by these suppliers are needed for day-to-day business operations, and the pricing and quality of the goods are critical to operational success. Often, the purpose of sourcing is simply for companies to find the supplier or vendor that offers the best price for the required item

DOCUMENT CONTROL

Document control plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of procurement processes.

It is essential for maintaining accuracy, consistency, and compliance throughout the entire procurement lifecycle. The primary purpose of document control is to ensure that only current documents and not documents that have been superseded are used to perform work and that obsolete versions are removed. Document control also ensures that current documents are approved by the competent and responsible for the specific job people and documents are distributed to the places where they are used.

Material Control and Logistics

MATERIAL CONTROL

Purpose
- It is the responsibility of the Material Control teams to ensure component parts are available for projects scheduled onto the assembly section and at time of delivery to site.

That is, all the phases involved from the manufacturing of the product to final delivery. It is one of the most important parts of a company.

Logistics management functions are essential in managing delivery and customer satisfaction. By ensuring timely order processing, efficient transportation management, and accurate inventory control, businesses can effectively meet customer requirements, a cornerstone for building trust and loyalty
